It is designed to maximise operational efficiencies and cost savings for all parties while offering a centralised information store for the accumulation of cargo risk data. The system incorporates a state-of-the-art, multi-level security architecture and is accessible to authorised users through standard web browsers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The system is fully multi-lingual, multi-currency and multi-company and has been designed with a flexible core application that can be easily customised to the unique requirements of individual clients, often without requiring any coding whatsoever.

Marshcargo.com's Claims Management module provides a central repository for all claims data. It helps to streamline and standardise claims handling procedures and offers a variety of powerful reporting tools to help analyse and manage risks and control losses. The system offers the ability to accept initial reporting of losses from any user with Internet access and generates automated notification to stakeholders.

In addition to storing basic claim and shipment information, the system stores all the adjustment details and financial transactions. It also can store and report on any number of additional user-defined data elements to extend its functionality without programming. A built-in correspondence engine can generate letters, and subrogation notices, and the system can store a variety of other electronic documents and notes. It also offers a diary system to trigger email elerts and a comprehensive reporting engine.
